AAESS ACES

Al Ain English Speaking School celebrates a bucketful of top grades from this year’s iGCSE, A/S & A Level exams.

It is the first time since the start of the pandemic that students have sat and written a full suite of exams, and AAESS is delighted with their results.

In particular, the following students scored 100% in all subjects achieving an A or an A* (star) in their iGCSEs:

Fathimah Addy, Hanen Abu Murshed, Hannah Al Balushi, Jeremy Aritonang, Neicene Chbli, Omar Zidan, Philip Fincher, Qasim Tariq and Seif Al Balushi.

The following students secured 100% As or A*s in their A/S exams:

Ashhad Faisal, Faisal Shembesh, Lukianos Ntelitheos, Marni Moussa, Muhammad Khanzada and Myles Domino Church.

In A Levels, the following secured 100% in their A Levels, all gaining As or A*s:

Aisling Nathan, Angelina Symon, Hana Takriti, Lujain Eltarabily, Nida Alam, Rama Aldirbashi and Sanika Sandeep.

In addition, the school celebrates the first male students who sat A Level Art in the history of the school.  James Thomas, and Mysle Domino Church not only passed with flying colours, but sat the two year course in just one year.

In A/S French, Eliiot Graham-Sommerville gained a distinction in French Speaking, meaning he has scored 100% in this part of the exam.  Joining Eliliot was Lukianos Ntelitheos who scored 100% in all his papers in his A/S Psychology exam.

Andrew Thomas, Executive Principal of the school said, “The results above are just the tip of the iceberg.  Most of our students achieved 100% passes in their exams and many of our subjects outperformed last year’s grades that were given through a teacher assessed grade.

We have to remember that all students across the globe have been affected by the pandemic, and for some, this is the first set of exams they have ever sat.  I am proud of all our students but these results are testimony to the hard working staff at AAESS and the fantastic parent body that has supported us and their children continually”.
